A new year and a new character

My publisher, Williams & Whiting, has just released a new book from this author.  “ONE FIGHT AT A TIME” features a new character Ed Grover – an American GI in Bristol during the years following World War II.

The city is broke.  Good people are struggling to get by.  An organised criminal underclass is thriving.

Days before his repatriation home, Grover visits the Morrison’s – a family he has grown to know and love.  The son, Harry has disappeared.  Grover finds the body of a young man with this throat cut.  Harry become the prime suspect.

After battling from Omaha Beach to the River Elbe to win the war and spending five years in berlin trying to win the peace, Grover knows more than most people about chancers, black marketeers, extortionists and killers.

He decides to stay in Bristol and find Harry.

“ONE FIGHT AT A TIME” is out paperback and on Kindle.
